The Producers Guild of America doesn't have to worry about the Writers Guild strike affecting their awards show. The PGA doesn't telecast their annual event and so it won't be affected by the ongoing strike as was this year's People's Choice Awards and the Golden Globes.

Being nominated for a PGA award doesn't necessarily guarantee a Best Picture Oscar nomination, but it sure helps. This year's list includes at least four films which should go on to earn much-coveted Best Picture nominations.

PGA Nominees

The Darryl F Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
Juno
Michael Clayton
No Country for Old Men
There Will Be Blood

Producer of the Year Award in Animated Theatrical Motion Picutres
Bee Movie
Ratatouille
The Simpsons Movie

The Producer of the Year Award in Documentary Theatrical Motion Pictures
Body Of War
Hear And Now
Pete Seeger: The Power Of Song
Sicko
White Light/Black Rain: The Destruction Of Hiroshima And Nagasaki
