Russell Crowe and Ron Howard are Eyeing "The Power of Duff"

Director Ron Howard and Aussie actor Russell Crowe may reunite for the third time for the dramatic movie, "The Power of Duff." Stephen Belber wrote the script with Brian Grazer and Marc Platt set to produce the project. "The Power of Duff" will be a joint production of Universal Pictures and DreamWorks.

According to Variety, Crowe would play a TV news anchor who prays aloud during broadcasts and who suddenly finds his prayers being answered.

Crowe and Howard first teamed up on "A Beautiful Mind" and recently worked together on "Cinderella Man," based on the true story of boxer Jim Braddock.
